My Recent Trips
I know I haven’t blogged lately so I will cram everything into one entry.
Boston
Pawtucket
(I know PawSox pitcher Garret Mock who gave us free tickets.) UPDATE: Garrett Mock was traded to the Houston Astros and optioned to the Okalhoma City RedHawks a couple hours after I wrote this.
Cooperstown
Former Bison Kelly Shoppach’s bat
Former Bison Kevin Kouzmanoff’s glove
Former Bison Sean Casey’s bat
Former Bison Johnny Bench
Former Bison “Pud” Galvin. Galvin threw 2 no-hitters while with Buffalo.
Pittsburgh
Washington It was 106 degrees on this day.
That is former Bison and current Royal Jeremy Guthrie and I.
That’s Stephen Strasburg in the background.
Check out the scoreboard. I got to shake Bryce Harper’s hand but my dad was too hot so he went in the shade before it happened. I can understand though, because it was HOT! There were kids that passed out on the field and those just the ones I saw. I left after Bryce Harper was gone because I was afraid I was going to pass out too.
Aberdeen
Philadelphia
I was standing in the corner spot down the foul line when the groundskeepers were putting down the foul line. The, they asked me if I wanted to help them! Unfortunately my dad wasn’t there at the time so the only proof I have is this picture of my footprints on the warning track:
Those are the groundskeepers in the background.

There I am in the background of the second and third Washington pictures. At least I think so; I don’t remember what I was wearing, do you?

I believe you were wearing a purple Rockies shirt for Colorado, but I don’t remember what you were wearing for the Nats.
Great pictures to remember some great experiences
Great pics, Danny! That’s one great trip for sure. I was a little disappointed with the HOF, but loved Fenway and McCoy!
–Mike
It was a lot of fun! I loved McCoy. It is #1 out of all the MiLB parks I have been to.
Doubleday Field looks awesome. What kind of ball/how did you get it there?
The ball was a Diamond “Proffesional NFHSg” which is a high school ball but I just kept it anyway. I know that the New York Collegiate Baseball League uses Diamond baseballs and most of the teams from the Perfect Game Collegiate League are from the New York League. So, I would think they would use the same brand. I got it when a little league game was going on, but I know it wasn’t from that game because I got one from that game too and it was a little league ball. (I gave that one back.) I saw it under the bleachers on the first base side, so I reached under and got it.
